The Sri Kulai Transport is a well-known logistic company located in Kulai, Johor, dealing mainly in construction materials and supplying them to Singapore. The layout of the building as well as its façade design are straightforward due to budget constraint, prioritizing in functional indoor and outdoor spaces in response to the need of the company.

The footprint of the building is about one-fourth of the whole site, providing ample outdoor spaces to accommodate logistic transports. While the building aesthetic is simple with groove lines and copings, striking blue colour is incorporated into the façade to represent the company’s corporate identity.

The result is a logistic building that is straightforward in design with a hint of the concept of form follow function.
